Instruction
Please read this manual carefully before using the GFPs and pay attention to the photos relating to steps 1-5.
The GFPs have been developed for learning guitar chords, suitable for all beginners who are interested in basic song accompaniment. They will fit onto all popular 4/4 classic-guitars with a nutwidth of 50 – 54 mm The ideal complement to all song- and guitar learning books.

1. Remove the protection strip on the adhesive strip. It will no longer be needed. Please avoid any kind of bending and keep it out of reach from toddlers. |

2. Adjust the GFP beneath the strings on the fretboard. This is made easier for the first two fretbars by the saddlewidth and the punching. Then press on the GFP. To fix it safely onto the fretboard simply press the adhesive strip slightly with your thumb from above. Depending on the degree of soiling on the fretboard the function of the adhesive strip might be restricted. |

3. Please tune your guitar accurately. For example, play the Amaj chord: Place the fingertips of your left hand onto the spots with the matching colours as follows: (1) index finger, (2) middle finger, (3) ring finger. Now play the the chord with your right hand from top to bottom. Please avoid playing the strings marked with an X, if the GFP has been marked accordingly. TIP: In order to learn the chords the left gripper hand must be placed around the fretboard without touching the bottom line of the GFP. Only the fingertips will be touching the fretboard from the front. The thumb is carrying out a counterpressure on the opposing side. Do not buckle your thumb and only use as much force as needed to produce a clear sound. |

4. The GFP should be removed carefully and with both hands after the chord training. The adhesive strip is a quality product and can generally be removed without residues. However, in rare cases, especially when the fretboard's surface is soiled, a residue of the adhesive strip might be slightly visible. This does not effect the fretboard and can be easily removed. |

5. The five GFPs have to be stored back-to-front to protect the adhesive strip from soiling. Never stick two adhesive strips together after use. Please store the GFPs at normal room temperature. Test results have shown that the GFPs, if used appropriately, are still applicable after several hundred contacts with the fretboard. |
There are 5 different GFPs available.
The GFPs are sorted by keys. You will find the fingering for almost all basic chords you will need in the beginning.
